The Association “Musica Viva” promote the IX International Piccolo Festival, that will be held in Grado, Italy, from the 4th to the 8th July 2023.
We are very honoured to host internationally renowned artists as Nicola Mazzanti, our Artistic Director and Former Piccolo of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra, Simone Bodoky-Van Der Velde, Principal Piccolo at Staatskapelle Berlin, Pamela Stahel, piccolo at Opernhaus Zürich, Ebonee Thomas, piccolo at the Dallas Opera and Thaddeus Watson, piccolo at Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra.
We will have the great pleasure to host also other Guest Piccoloists, that give us lectures and workshops, and exhibitors from all over the world with their instruments.
Registration will be open from March 1st, at 00.00 UTC +1 (Rome time).

This year you can participate in person as an effective student, an auditor student or you can also follow all the festival online as an auditor with the live streaming!
Active performers can take part at the festival only in presence; it’s not possible to have online lessons.

The fee includes only the 3 individual lessons and all the festival activities, no hotel or travel.
Your application will not be processed until the application fee has been received.
Everyday active performers and auditors can join the warm-up session.
Active performers will have lesson 45 mins long with three of the five guest artists; with the online pass you can take part in all events, masterclasses and concerts.
